Dear Brothers, I am a british veteran of Parachute regiment, and belong to the (PRA) Parachute regimental Assoc;,it has fallen upon me to gather information about possible funding from other associations in order that we might erect a new memorial at TattonPark cheshire England where the Canadian Airborne forces first jumped and was formed. the existing memorial is made of limestone, and is in a poor state of repair, we would like a new one, it’s expensive and as a branch (Manchester PRA) cannot afford it alone, we need to get pledges from all Airborn associations throughout the world who formed and jumped at TattonPark between 1942 and 1945. with the view that in about 2 years we will have got it all sorted, but we need prior to commencement a commitment from associations in writing, but not at this stage, if you are willing in principal then I’ll pass the information to our branch chairman who will contact you.. Utrique Paratus. Edmund In Manchester England.

Thank you for this information. I have notified the President of the Canadian Airborne Forces Association (CAFA) Rick Hatton regarding the project. He is willing to discuss the potential for our support further on a preliminary basis by e-mail. His personal e-mail address is hatton_coward@yahoo.ca . I am sure you will understand that before we can make any commitment we will need more information and must consult our members. You can consider this to be an early expression of interest in principle at this point. Either you or the local PRA Branch Chairman can contact Rick Hatton directly by e-mail. Ex Coelis.
