CAFA donation to Bravery in Arms.

8 May 2025 will mark the 80 th anniversary of the WW II Allied victory in Europe. In recognition of this historic event Roger Chabot and his BIA team will be producing a new documentary entitled “Path to Total Victory”. The documentary will recount the final struggles of 1st Canadian Corps to achieve total victory and the Allied liberation of the Netherlands at the end of April 1945. It will incorporate the actions of the battles of Apeldoorn, Otterlo, and other significant events including the actions of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion who participated in Operation Varsity, the last Allied Airborne Operation of WWII. The Canadian Airborne Forces Association was pleased to present, on 23 February, a cheque for $1000 as a donation toward the production costs of “Path to Total Victory”.
