The Airborne Social Club in Edmonton hosted the annual Siffleur Falls D-Day commemoration and the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the Canadian Airborne Regiment reunion from 5 to 10 June. The events were very well organized with attendance surpassing expectations. It was truly a family gathering with strong representation from both the Edmonton and Petawawa eras of the Regiment. That special bond and camaraderie that Airborne Brothers share was on full display for the entire period with many a CAFA member in attendance. Congratulations and thanks to the organizers and volunteers who went out of their way to allow those of us who attended the opportunity to gather.
